AlertFox Image Uploader

The Image Uploader is used to manage the input images for the iMacros image search.

The uploaded images are used as input for the iMacros IMAGESEARCH (used to assert a certain image exits) and IMAGECLICK (click on this image) commands.

How to create and upload images?

There are several good ways to create images. Important for all options is

a. Make sure your desktop is set to 32-bit "true color" resolution, as this is the color resolution used on all transaction monitoring servers. Typically most desktop PCs use 32-bit color resolution as default.

b. Use PNG as image format.

Good methods to create images:

1. Use the built-in iMacros function. In the iMacros menu go to ImageSearch > Create Image File feature

2. Use the Windows Print-Screen command or a screenshot tool such as SnagIt.

3. Use the screenshots you get from the Alertfox "Test Now" command and extract the images for there. This has the advantage that your image is automatically in the correct 32-bit resolution.

To upload images log into your AlertFox account and go to Settings > Upload images. After you upload an images it takes only a few seconds to sync this image with all AlertFox test servers. You can then go to your iMacros sensors and run Test Now.
